Jewellery Appraisals

Our in-house GIA trained appraiser provides you with a free appraisal document on any engagement ring purchased from us. Thereafter, we recommend that you bring in your engagement ring annually for cleaning. and for us to check that your diamonds remain secure. We provide this service at no charge. At the same time, we can review any appraisals you have, to see if they require updating in value.

Appraisal

An appraisal document should fully describe the specifications of an engagement ring so that it can be accurately valued and replaced.  Time must be taken to carefully photograph, examine, identify, weigh, measure, test, grade and value the engagement ring as accurately as possible. A digital close-up photograph of the engagement ring is imbedded in the appraisal document. This full colour image clearly shows the styling detail of the engagement ring to enable remanufacturing. We keep digital archives of all the appraisals we issue so that they are readily available should you or your insurers ever need a copy.

Jewellery Insurance Rider

Give your insurer a photocopy of the appraisal document and request them to quote you on the cost of scheduling your engagement ring on your insurance policy. Most insurers usually waive the requirement of a deductible in the event of a claim on a scheduled item. Confirm this with your insurer before proceeding.
