Appraisals

We provide comprehensive appraisals on the all the engagement rings we make, at no charge. We recommend that you bring in your engagement rings for cleaning and checking on a regular basis. We provide this service in order to prevent the loss of diamonds from engagement rings due to worn settings. At the same time, we can review any Appraisals you have to see if their value requires updating.

Appraisal

A detailed and accurate Appraisal should precisely describe the specifications of engagement rings so they can be replaced with similar items of like kind and quality. Our in-house GIA trained appraiser takes the time necessary to carefully photograph, examine, identify, weigh, measure, test, grade and value all engagement rings as accurately as possible. High quality digital close-up photographs of engagement rings are imbedded in each Appraisal document. These full colour macro images clearly show the styling details of engagement rings to enable remanufacturing. We keep digital archives of all the Appraisals we issue for the engagement rings that we make so that they are readily available should you or your insurers ever need a copy.

Jewellery Insurance Rider

Give your insurer a copy of the Appraisal and request them to quote you the cost of scheduling engagement rings within a Jewellery Insurance Rider to be added to your policy. Most insurers waive the requirement of a deductible in the event of a claim on scheduled engagement rings. Confirm this with your insurer, and ask them to explain any additional benefits of having a Jewellery Insurance Rider.
